Field Service Analyst (Senior Lead)- DCGS-A Mobile
Job Description and Requirements:
USfalcon, recognized as one of the fastest growing, privately held companies in the United States, is seeking a Field Service Analyst (Senior/Lead) - DCGS-A Mobile to work out of Fort Drum, NY.
**Job Summary:**The qualified Field Service Analyst (Senior/Lead) - DCGS-A Mobile will perform duties as a Field Service Analyst (FSA) for initializing, placing into operation, and troubleshooting the hardware and software interfaces of this system. This position will support the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) Software Engineering Center (SEC) Field Support Directorate (FSD) to perform resident engineering and technical support to the Warfighter. In addition, this position will align with the local Army Field Support Battalions to provide support for exercises, combat operations, and contingency operations.
Requirements:**- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with 5 years' experience. 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* CompTIA Security+ CE certification
* Comptia Server +
**Clearance:**- TS/SCI
**Travel:**- Must be available for assignment to various CONUS/OCONUS sites for extended terms.
Preferred Qualifications:
* ACE BLK II, ASAS-All Source, ASAS-Single Source, ASAS-Light, ASAS-RWS BLK II systems experience
* Advanced knowledge of the Solaris Unix Operating system and command line environment.
* Advanced knowledge of the Oracle database management system. Preferably 10g or 11g.
* Must be trained and familiar with DCGS-A Baseline version and
* Must be experienced in the formulation and execution of organizational training programs
* Subject matter expert with the tools and applications within the DCGS-A family of systems
* Experience in the Military Decision Making Process and execution of the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlespace (IPB) process
* Experience in Military S2/G2 intelligence operations performing tactical and strategic intelligence analysis
* Experience in developing intelligence products to support the F3EAD process
* Experience with the Tactical Entities Database
* Experience with DCGS-A interoperability and transmitting data to other Mission Command Systems
* Experience with Geospatial applications (2D Map, ArcGIS, Google Earth, Terra Explorer
* Any other DCGS-A systems administration experience.
* Experience utilizing remote access capabilities such as putty, cygwin, etc....
* Experience utilizing vClient application to access enterprise assets.
* Experience performing IAVA, OS, and application patching/updates
* Experience working in a fast past multi-faceted environment preferred.
* Strong working knowledge of Internet networking technologies and principals including TCP/IP and DNS.
* Experience in the DOD intelligence environment or equivalent government agencies, with field level experience preferred.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot Unix operating environments.
* Configure Unix based server / client relationship environments.
* Maintain all client systems with prescribed user application tool sets.
* Ensures full functionality of all servers and associated storage devices.
* Ensures message traffic is flowing into the system, being automatically process, and parsed into the database.
* Ensure full functionality of all assigned client workstations.
* Manages database storage, and data integrity for the system databases.
* Ensures all servers are appropriately associated to the DCGS-A Backup/Archive solution and verifies that backup jobs have been completed per schedule.
* Performs system clean up of databases and logs.
* Manages Oracle RDBMS table-space.
* Ensures IA standards compliance on all assigned systems.
* Performs routine manual checks of all assigned Unix based systems for system IA anomalies using appropriate tools, scripts, and documentation.
* Teach, coach, and advise analysts in the use of DCGS-A data sources
* Provide over-the-shoulder support to military analysts in order to enable and empower them to extract the greatest capabilities from the DCGS-A system in support of the unit's mission
* Work side-by-side with analysts; helping, enabling, and empowering them to populate the DCGS-A Tactical Entities Database (TED), create intelligence products
* Assess training requirements, identify and evaluate training alternatives, and develop training materials to include a variety of training approaches
* Assist the supported organization in incorporating DCGS-A in the unit's established workflow
* Assist in the development/enhancement of the Intelligence Standard Operating Procedures and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (SOP/TTP)
* As the DCGS-A subject matter expert, provide guidance to unit leadership on DCGS-A functionality/capabilities and assist in building training plans to support such guidance
