* The CDW Channel Manager will manage all aspects of business between Samsung Enterprise IT division and the CDW Small Business and Corporate Sales Division reporting into Sr. Manager - CDW sales Lead.
* Overall goal will be to achieve corporate sales and market share objectives through evangelizing the Samsung brand within CDW. You must be able to understand the market needs, develop Go to Market strategy and also implement it aligned with company goals. In doing so will develop, communicate and implement special programs and promotions, articulate corporate strategy and other key initiatives through all levels of CDW including Management, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Purchasing and Technical staffs.
* You must have experience in the B2B IT Channel Reseller / National Solution Provider and/or VAR Channel, and also have a solid understanding of the Distribution channel, while having a track record of creating and maintaining strong business relationships with all levels of sales, marketing, operations, and all other aspects within CDW and assist in collaborating around consistent business reviews.
* You must have knowledge and understanding around sell through data, competitive updates, channel trends and competitive strategies in order for Samsung to maintain and increase its competitive position, and maintain the correct and healthy inventory levels in the channel through pipeline management.
* You will engage in CDW internal and external customer facing events, and be effective in listening to customer issues, concerns and recommendations, and drive collaborative process around resolution. This also includes conduct sales presentations that convey the correct product positioning as well as comparing our solutions to competitive offerings, and provide on-going product information and expertise to all aspects within the distributor.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* BA/BS Degree Required.
* A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in IT Reseller, VAR, NSP Channel.
* Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management.
* Ability to perform at CDW customer facing events, and to lead sales and product training within CDW, holding Strong product knowledge and competitive expertise.
* Ability to convey needs wants and interests of CDW sellers, and drive effective strategies to grow the mutual business.
* Microsoft Office Skills a must and experience preferred Ability to travel when role requires up to 50% of the time.
