Business Development Specialist

Under general supervision. Works with dealers, customers and national accounts and is typically required to lead both pre- and post-sales activities of units leased through coordinating and processing complex or difficult orders, providing information and/or resolving customer related issues or problems. Acts as facilitator to ensure customer needs are understood by various areas of the Company such as leasing, marketing and parts distribution. Initiates, develops and implements special projects that have long term impact across the corporation. Evaluates, modifies and creates methods/processes and ensures they are the most cost effective value-added approach. Develops rapport with customers to enhance service provided and encourage repeat business. As recognized expert in a discipline, leads high level teams and may be required to supervise lower level business development representatives or other administrative personnel.


* Responds to complex and/or sensitive dealer, national account and/or customer calls/visits or written inquiries. Initiates calls as required to enhance customer relationships and/or to provide information regarding new products/services and/or resolutions to issues. Frequently works with top management in setting and meeting/exceeding customer product and service expectations.
* Assists dealers and various departments in ensuring all customer documentation is handled in a timely, effective and compliant basis (billings, cash applications, lease documentation, etc.).
* Understands current and future Company product/service offerings and provides appropriate technical advice and counsel to customers as various levels on a proactive basis as well as reactive basis.
* Limited travel.
* Will be responsible for support with specific collections, customer AP specialty billing software; unique requested reports from customers, dealers, other departments, and management.
* Analyze, develop and suggest "best practices" for major accounts/customers to reduce their costs and increase our value to their organizations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Crystal Reporting desirable
* Performs related work as assigned.
